Golden Plains was unreal. Best fun I’ve had since
the Aquaman shoot. But, the coffee line was too big. What
happened there? Why can’t you have more composting
toilets? Why not make the long night the first night and
cut the second night shorter so we can get some sleep before
going home on Monday? Where was George Rrurrambu and Birdwave?

Hi Turtle,
Our usual coffee vendor who was booked to have two large coffee carts
at the festival had to pull out at the very last minute due to his
wife going into hospital unexpectedly. So we were lucky to have a
coffee cart at all in the end. This can be easily fixed. As for more
composting toilets, yes, we certainly plan to, but we are on a 12
month trial with the EPA and those 12 months have to elapse before
we can start building more. That’s not until December 2007,
so we won’t have them in time for Meredith 2007 but hopefully
we can in time for Golden Plains 2008 (The Second One).
As for George and Birdwave, they couldn’t make it due to a family
matter. We wish George all the best and hope they can come play sometime
in the near future.
